SATRE: Standardised Architecture for Trusted Research Environments

Categories: report

These are two formal outputs from the SATRE project. The aim of SATRE was to build a Standard Architecture for Trusted Research Environments (TREs) – sets of large scale digital infrasture designed to keep public and private data such as medical data safe. The standard incorporates knowledge and best practices from multiple institutions and sectors across the UK. This includes all aspects of TRE provision such as information governance procedures, computing technology, data management and other capabilities. I was the only social scientist on the team and let a report into TRE users, the first of its kind.
